I booked an appointment for a trim, treatment, and blowout. To give context, I have pretty thick curly hair, so I would assume they would match me with a stylist that at least has some knowledge of my type of hair texture - I ended up with Abby as my stylist. She gave me a dry trim just straight across the bottom ($67) and the worst blowout I’ve ever gotten. To start, she didn’t section my hair at all for the blowdrying/blowout process, she just did all the hair as one big section. If you have curly hair you know that once the hair is dry, if it’s still curly and frizzy, it’s very hard to get the hair to look smooth. She proceeded with the straightener where I mentioned to her that for my hair you have to take smaller sections or it will never look smooth and have that blowout effect. Halfway into the straightening process I realized my roots were still entirely wavy and the bottom layer of my hair was still frizzy and textured. I mentioned to Abby 4-5 times that you have to work in smaller sections and get the straightener up to the roots in order to see a difference. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I had already spoken up multiple times and nothing was being resolved. I paid $97 for this and I am completely appalled at the lack of professionalism. I called the salon back 2 times following the appointment to try and speak with the owner and never got a call back. I called back the following day in the morning, and finally after a couple of hours got a call back from Renee, who said she would take this as a training moment for Abby and nothing else could be done. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this salon and wasted my time and money. The attached photos were taken right after getting home from the salon.

This was my first visit to Olivia Lane Salon, and Abby took care of me. She did a fantastic job! I needed my roots colored and a haircut. The color could not have been any better; the match was perfect for my light golden brown hair. The cut was great, and it's easy to work with after I wash my hair. I'll definitely book with Abby again!

This salon is shockingly unprofessional for how highly it tries to present itself. The prices are far above average, yet the work is poorly done by stylists who appear untrained and inexperienced. What’s worse is the attitude toward customers, even the owner Renee dismisses valid concerns, rushing clients off the phone and refusing to address issues. It is surprising that a business would treat its customers this way and still charge premium rates. I would strongly caution anyone considering this place, as the service and treatment fall far below even basic expectations.

I’ve been meaning to post this review! I went to a salon in Lynn haven wanting some lightly colored chunky highlights. I left that salon in tears with nearly black hair. Immediately after leaving that salon I called this one as it was the first one that popped up. I semi hysterically cried on the phone and asked them if they could see me. Well they got me in ten minutes later to see what they could do for me. Emily was so sweet and kind and understanding (which was appreciated as I was FREAKING OUT). Emily and who I believe to be the owner or a manager (wish I got her name) worked together to calm me and figure out a way to fix my hair. I left with the highlights I wanted!!! So grateful to how kind and amazing everyone was here and a huge shoutout to them for getting me in on such short notice!!!!

Called at 1030 am for a wash and cut to get all the dead blonde hair off of my ends and they squeezed me in at 11am and did way better than I expected for a quick last minute cut. My hair looks great and healthy and the stylist was the sweetest. Her name is Abagail and I throughly enjoyed chatting with her. Very welcoming and pleasant. I walked out of that salon feeling great. Awesome service all around ❤️
