This place was honestly the best hair salon I have ever been to! The place was so lovely, clean, vibrant of natural light. Marisol was my hairdresser and she did AMAZING! She did exactly what I envisioned for my hair! She also made sure to keep it as healthy as it could be too which was the biggest plus! I have never had a hairdresser who was so quick yet THOROUGH like her! I definitely recommend her to everyone! And I will definitely come back to her!

Look overall the lady was nice. I came in for a haircut because my hair was getting long on, and I wanted my curtain bangs touched up. I walked in and made it very clear with the stylist that length was a big thing for me beyond my bangs, that I loved my length and I did not want it short at all. She proceeded to chop off like 6 inches after already confirming with me like half of an inch to cut because it needed that little bit. Now I’ve always ever cut my hair with layers, I asked for them, she told me I didn’t have layers. Yes I did, I never ever cut my hair without them. So I didn’t get my layers at all, she chopped off my hair, and add to it? She cut my bangs so short and choppy, I showed her reference photos, I told her the length I wanted my bangs (mid-cheek bone area) and she cuts them up to my eyes, I literally can’t even style them they’re so short. And of course that’s not all, no, because she chopped off so much hair the back is completely bulky and thick because A: she cut it DRY and B: she cut it where the layers she said didn’t exist actually met, so it looks thick and boxy. The best thing she did throughout that entire appointment was not let me pay for the service. Edit: because of the horrible response from the company I am adding the before & after photos. In the video, I was preparing to take before & Afters- I had long hair that reached just below my chest. Per your message you mentioned cameras, good! Because she definitely did show me the amount of hair to be taken off, you’re correct, we agreed on what was about a half an inch. (As you can see in these photos it’s about 4-6 taken off + no layers) and as you said cameras help things, I said layers in the front, I wanted my length to stay the same just a little fresh because there was dead ends. It didn’t even happen because she showed me my hair after chopping my bangs and said “how’s this?” And I said .. “babe you chopped my bangs..” and only THEN did she decide she was going to attempt to style my hair. She asked after already styling my short bangs if I wanted the layers, this time I indeed said no and ended the services early because why on earth would I let her continue touching my hair when I was not happy with the outcome she tried to get away with first? I’m glad you’ve brought up cameras, because you can go ahead and rewatch them and see I sent in reference photos, I communicated my wants perfectly, I cried in the chair and out of the chair and cried on my way out. I told you I wasn’t paying for the service I hated. This is not courtesy. I told you it wasn’t happening. So sorry you feel like I didn’t align with your expectations, but this is my review!

Annie has been cutting my hair for years and I'm so happy that she now has this beautiful salon. She has always cut my hair exactly how I like it. She asks for input and actually listens and adjusts and I appreciate that! The salon is clean, safe and in a great location and all the staff has been super friendly. It's always so calming and I feel so relaxed after my appointment. I highly recommend Level Up for any beauty needs!

If you have very curly hair please come see Maria!! She did the best curly cut and gave me the most perfect layers and face framing pieces. She really understands how to cut and manage curls. I appreciated her so so much. She did phenomenal!
