Uptown Nail Lounge

Once again, Tara at Uptown Nails hit it out of the park! She is talented and always creates a nail set that exceeds expectations. As for the salon, Uptown Nails is sanitary & everyone is friendly and kind. They make you feel at home! Thank you Tara for creating a gorgeous work of art.

Unfortunately, I am not happy with my experience. I went in to get an acrylic removal because I wanted to do it properly instead of attempting at home. However, instead of doing a proper soak off, they just ripped my old nails off of me. This hurt very badly and if I had known I would’ve done that at home. Secondly, all I wanted was a regular gel manicure with a little design. As you can see by the pictures the design is not very well done. The diamonds are not even the same size or type. I definitely should have said something at the time, but I also wish I would have been told that it was not possible instead of sending me out with that. The polish is also very lumpy and uneven. This is not worth the $55 that I paid. They do not look professional or salon quality and I am disappointed. UPDATE: They did NOT ask me if it was okay to take it off by tip and they did NOT do a foil wrap soak off that is completely untrue. Now I am more upset that I was charged $20 for a soak off I did not receive. She did ask me if the design was okay and I did say yes, and I already admitted that I should have said something at the time. Unfortunately, I am not confrontational. But they were obviously not okay. You shouldn’t send anyone out looking like that.

It was my first time visiting, go with a friend and it was amazing. The worker who did my nails did such an amazing job and a fast worker. I had an appt at 12 and she finished probably about under an hour. It was a little pricey since I’ve been to other places that were a little cheaper but it was worth it. She did the nails exactly the same as the picture with some few requests from me. As it shows in the picture the pink part I want it to be a lighter pink and she made it happen. Everything else was the same. It’s really pretty. The place also has a very warming, calm vibe to it. The first two photos are the pictures from Pinterest that I wanted to do and the last two are my nails that the worker did.

First time visiting and loved every minute of it. Came with my bestie for a spa day and needed a full manicure and pedi. Almond French tips and French tips on my toes (no pics) Everyone was sweet and so helpful. Took their time to do our sets and kept us together & comfortable our entire visit. Love that they paid attention to every detail and made sure it was just right. I’ve always had a hard time finding a salon/spa as my “go-to” and I’m convinced I found the spot! 10/10!

I went to UPTOWN NAILS in Altamonte to get my nails completely redone after a not so good experience at Luna’s in Winter Springs. I got sat with DUKE and oh my gah, HE IS SO GREAT & my new favorite!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!! He is a perfectionist, did exactly what I asked for (a white & pink umbre) 😍 & all of his work is nearly PERFECT! He is HILARIOUS, so much fun, prices are reasonable & I can assure you, you’ll be so happy with his work!! Can’t wait to go back but by the look & feel of my nails, it won’t be for awhile so I may just stop in and say hi 😂
