When I walked in, nobody greeted me and I just immediately felt kind of unwelcome. As I sat there waiting (past my appointment time), I noticed just a general uncleanliness. Surfaces not wiped down in between customers, tools didn’t seem too clean either. They booked us even though they were short staffed so we did have to wait and the whole ordeal took over two hours for an acrylic set. At Longwood Nails, the place I usually go, It’s never taken over an hour. As for the nails, they came out sloppy honestly. The woman doing my nails did not allow time for the design to dry so the topcoat ruined it. She was nice, and I didn’t want to have to redo it because it already had taken so long but I will not be going back. Overall, there’s just a lot of room for improvement. These are my nails, and my siblings for reference after just getting them done… see for yourself.

I really don’t like giving bad reviews as I am a small business owner as well but u am completely shocked and disappointed at the experience I just had here! I just paid for a gel manicure that looks horrid that I will be removing as soon as I get home! There were only 2 customers in the store and no need for the tech to have completely rushed this process! She had little to NO care when doing my nails. Completely ridiculous cuticle cleaning even though I mentioned I needed them cleaned! And the polish work was utterly unprofessional. And imagine this is me mentioning to her multiple times that it does not look nice and I am unhappy. I quietly and calmly talked to the manager who did nothing except send the same nail tech to the front counter to glance at my nails and then take my payment!

I had the worst experience. I was rushed throughout my whole time. When I had my pedicure it was rushed and the lady didn’t even do a thorough pedicure on my feet’s. Then on my nails they’re not Evan she cut one of my fingers. I explained to her several times I had too much glue leading up to cutting my ring finger. I so disappointed. Never will I return!

All over messy! When he was filing and messing with my cuticles it felt like he was just digging for gold. Water ran cold most of the appt although I pointed out it was cold, he turned it warm and then it was cold again. No gloves, the girls wore gloves he didn’t. He pointed out the scars on my legs, asking ‘Why do you keep your legs like that?’ Like…. that is way beyond what your job entails, knowing about what might have gone on on my legs and not knowing how sensitive I could be to it, which I AM. I hate coming here but it is right around the corner from my house and was the only open availability for today, which is when I needed my nails done.

My second time with Sunshine was not good as the first time. Not sure if the nail polish was old or my nails were not prepped well but my gel nail polish started peeling off on day 3. I am officially 1 week post my gel manicure and I have nothing left. My pedi was done with regular nail polish and (and by a different technician) and it is still good. Very disappointed because there is an upcharge for the gel manicure. Not sure if I will go back.
