V & V Nails Design

I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience here I feel compelled to share. This was my first visit, and I chose this salon based on the great reviews, but I left very disappointed—especially considering I’m going away in a week and wanted my nails to look nice. I booked a builder gel manicure (which cost $80). Towards the end of my appointment, right before painting my nails, the nail tech told me that they normally charge $15 just to clean up cuticles. She said she would do it for free this time. I found this very strange and off-putting, especially because cuticle care is a basic part of any manicure and shouldn’t be an extra add-on, let alone mentioned so late in the service. During the service, one of my nails had the “builder gel” already lifting and coming off. When I pointed it out, instead of properly fixing it, she just put nail glue on top to “fix” it. When she finished painting, the polish was all over my cuticles and outside the nail bed. When I asked if she could clean it up, she put a lot of oil on my hands and tried to pick the polish off with her nails. I mentioned that other salons use a brush and acetone to remove excess polish, and she told me it would come off after I washed my hands a few times. For $80, my nails look like I did them at home, not like they were done by a professional. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed and don’t feel I received the quality or care that matches the price.

I came to V & V’s to get my nails done for my wedding and was beyond impressed! Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating when we walked in. They helped me pick out the perfect shape and color for my acrylics and toes. I felt so relaxed in their massage chair while getting my legs and feet massaged. The owner was hilarious and surprised my mom and I with a glass of rose and a sash to celebrate the upcoming wedding. I left feeling extremely happy with the outcome. These were simply the best nails I’ve ever had done! We will definitely be back 🥰🫶🏻

I had a great experience with Helen! I had a manicure and spa champagne pedicure! It was really really nice! Made my feet and legs super soft! I always have a good experience at VV. Sam is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this salon, you won’t be disappointed!

Sam and v&v team are great. I have been with them almost 25 years from their smaller shop to now in their beautiful new salon. They are so talented with nail design and multiple colors. They are so attentive to what you like and want. Many perks to the customers of snacks drinks and even a limo ride on customer appreciation day. Sam and team are the best

Sam is truly amazing! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. His attention to detail is unmatched—my Gel-X nails came out absolutely flawless and beyond what I imagined. Sam is not only incredibly talented but also so kind, patient, and accommodating, making sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and their clients. I couldn’t be happier with my nails and will 100% be coming back. Highly recommend!
