Devil’s Thumb was BEYOND outstanding. The staff made the biggest impression - everyone I met was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. I was there for a wedding and interacted with quite a few people across the property, and the level of service was consistently great. The property is beautiful and very well cared for. My room was extremely comfortable, with high-quality bedding, pillows, and robes that made the stay feel special. I also really appreciated the sauna, steam room, and pool near the fitness area. They’re open to all guests (separate from the spa) and were a great place to recharge. The food throughout the property was excellent as well - thoughtful, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Overall, it felt like a truly luxurious experience and absolutely worth the cost. I’d recommend it to anyone.

There is a great amount of activities to do around the Ranch! Really enjoyed speaking to Chance, he’s very knowledgeable and passionate as ever. Andrew, Slava, Oscar, Ty, and many others from the food and beverage team made our stay better every day. The food and beverage team was pretty incredible at every turn, as was everyone else. Each person at the stables does a wonderful job at keeping up with all the horses and making it a cozy experience. The consistency amongst everyone is phenomenal. Already planning a trip back!

Devil’s Thumb is one of those places that feels peaceful the moment you arrive. In the winter, it’s perfect for cross country skiing, cozying up by the fire, and taking in the quiet, snow-covered landscape. It’s calm, beautiful, and truly relaxing. In the summer, the resort completely transforms there’s horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and tons of outdoor activities to keep you busy. No matter what season you go, the scenery is breathtaking. The rooms are super nice and very fancy, with that upscale mountain-luxury vibe. Overall, this is such a great quiet getaway, whether you’re looking for adventure or just want to unwind in the mountains. Highly recommend!

I had the hot stone Wagu for a starter, it is what they are known for, and was great. The bread! The bread was like nothing I’ve ever had, the seasonings gave you the sense of Thanksgiving with hints of sage, it was like dressing in loaf form. Follow that up with the bacon wrapped Elk and WOW. The Elk needs to be talked about more because it was perfection, tender, not gamey, and the side accompaniments were great. Service was superb and the chocolates at the end allowed for a sweet treat later as I was entirely too full for a dessert unfortunately.

Kind of a mixed bag. Hotel definitely needs a makeover, some refurbishment, something. Service was a total coin flip - they took great care to set up our room for a baby, with a crib, high chair, and bottle warmer all provided. There was a server, Pawan, that was so kind and attentive. That being said, the majority of the time it felt like we were staying in an Airbnb. When we checked in / out there was no offer to even help with bags or open doors. It was a surreal lobby/check in/out experience. Ranch tavern is awesome. Incredible food, setting, all of it. But the food at heck’s tavern was shockingly bad, especially considering it’s really the only place to eat on property and is priced almost inline with Ranch House. The two places can’t possibly get the food from the same place. Setting is beautiful. hardly ever leave reviews I’m just super confused by this place and what it’s trying to be.
