Pow Nails Shawnee

I’ve been coming here for awhile and it’s a great experience every time. 😊 Alex and Vannie both are excellent. I never leave disappointed! Thank you!

Today was my first time trying Pow nails, and I could not be any happier with the results. Tracy is not only a talented nail artist but also a wonderful person. She takes the time to understand what I want and offers creative suggestions. My nails have never looked better, and I left feeling pampered, girly, and refreshed!

I absolutely love the staff at POW - so friendly, funny, and talented. I always get the best work for an extremely reasonable price.

Was initially really excited to get my nails done for the first time. I had called ahead to ask to add on another service, to which I was requested to come in at a slightly later time. When I did come in, it turns out I was late to the appointment despite being them asking me to come in later, and my service wasn’t updated. I had no idea how the process worked, and the lady that helped me was extremely rude. She laughed at the initial color I wanted, so I picked something else to save face. She talked to me/gave me instructions like she thought I was dumb. I just didn’t understand what was going on. This is also the kind of place that will talk about their clients in another language. She made my cuticles bleed (they’re raw now), and on top of that she had her mask pulled down and coughed on me and my hands. Now I’m sick. She informed me that I may need to come back and basically blamed me for the gel messing up because I didn’t place my hand under the machine correctly. Again, I have never done this before, I let her know that. This was beyond a disappointing experience. I cried in the car, I was so embarrassed. If you’re someone like me who values professionalism and a welcoming environment, please beware of this place. Edit: Let their reply speak for itself. They do not take any accountability and instead just call me sensitive and make excuses for themselves while blaming me once again. Also, I only tipped because I was asked to. I tried to be as polite as possible despite how uncomfortable and confused I was. I am not sensitive, I can tell when people are being rude. You’re supposed to be a business, and professionalism is the bare minimum. Don’t blame the customer. Also, they didn’t even bother to apologize for what they did to my cuticles. Upon telling this story a different nail salon today, they agreed that this experience is not normal.

Very warm and friendly people in a clean and comfortable environment. Vannie did a fantastic job on my full set and even worked with me on a color change when I decided a couple nails in of painting that I wanted a different color. Absolutely wonderful quality and service. I will definitely be going back.
