I had wanted to get a membership here for the last few years and finally did it, starting over the summer. I’ve had incredible massages from Ezra and Joelle and facials from Riley that are keeping my sensitive skin more hydrated and smooth. Ezra and Joelle both asked and listened to where I needed the most attention and they targeted their massages to those areas, making a big difference in my neck and shoulder tightness. Riley has never pushed products but I needed a cleanser recommendation so I purchased something there that I absolutely love. As someone who has not traditionally made time for self care and gets stressed out over scheduling, parking and sometimes even spa small talk, the experience at Waterside is truly enjoyable for me. You can request quiet sessions if you’re not in the mood to chat. They offer tea while waiting and I’ve also spent a few minutes in the salt room and need to do that more often. The locals membership is a great deal; even moreso if you prepay when they offer that option in November - making it $100/month for your choice of signature massage or facial. The facial products feel calming to me and have never irritated my rosacea. It’s a treat from start to finish.

A true local treasure! As someone who’s been coming here for years, I can confidently say this spa never disappoints. The facials are always top-notch — my skin glows every time — and the body massages are pure bliss. The salt room is an added bonus and the perfect way to relax and reset after a long week. What I love most is the warm, genuine care from the entire team. Their customer service is consistently excellent, and you can feel how much pride they take in what they do. It’s such a joy to support a women-owned business that goes above and beyond every single visit. If you’re local (or visiting), don’t miss out on this place — it’s hands down one of the best spas around!

Year around, Waterside Day Spa is my go-to for self care treatments in Steamboat. Whether I have been skiing hard, mountain biking, or entertaining family for a week, Waterside is my go-to place to reset, treat myself to some skin care and massage, and truly relax. I love the peaceful serene setting on the banks of the Yampa River. I especially love the Salt room after a treatment, to meditate, pray, and just be still. I have had 3 massages and 1 facial over the past few years and every time I have left completely satisfied with the experienced technicians and a calming environment. I highly recommend Waterside, whether you live in Steamboat permanently, or part time like me.

I've been to Waterside a number of times and my experience is always amazing! I go to Emily for my haircuts and she does an incredible job every time. She's super attentive, listens to what you want, and always delivers. I've also had a few massages and a facial and can attest to all services being top of the line. The environment is great and everyone is so friendly. I'd definitely recommend!

Jello. That is what you will feel like after you have had a massage here. Your skin and muscles will thank you for the relaxation. My husband and I had a 90-minute couples massage here and longed for another 90 minutes shortly after it ended. Ezra and Lindsey provided a wonderful, soothing experience. Despite have a massage in the same room, there were no words passed between my husband and I as we both nearly fell into blissful slumber. Thank you, Waterside, for one of the highlights of our trip.
