Hailey Nails

I originally left a review giving this place 5 stars and raving about it. Unfortunately, my last experience was less than favorable. When I told the nail tech that I wanted the nail polish to the cuticle, she told me “no, that your skin”. Then after she spoke to the woman working with her in her language and clearly was making fun of me. So not ok! Then during my time there another woman answered the phone and was being so rude to the person because she couldn’t understand her very well. It really put a damper on the experience. I thought to myself… “wow, these people don’t really care and here just to make a buck”. They rushed me out of the chair and didn’t even spray any quick dry on them. So my toes were barely dry, an hour later they were still not dry and the big toes got all messed up. I’m very disappointed in the service I got and will never go back there again. What a waste of $65!! Oh let’s not forget that I just got my nails done 3 days ago and it looks like it’s been a week or two since I have cuz they painted so far away from the cuticle.

I went into this nail salon based on reviews so.. DO NOT GO HERE. I went in to get a set of birthday nails (and i don’t get my nails done often, so i am also doing test runs of engagement nails).. so i was excited! I get there after my boyfriend calls ahead and schedules me in- the lady at the front tried to convince me that my boyfriend said i wanted a pedicure too (i was sitting next to him when he called.. i did not want a pedicure) that should have been my first red flag. So finally i tell her no, i just want french tips & i give her a reference photo ( i wanted the same shape and everything). I will also include the reference photo- At the end of her being SO sloppy, harsh with my nails, and everyone in the salon being rude.. my nails were hideous. Pictures will be included. The shape was wrong and badly done, the paint was leaking down the sides of my nails, no cuticle care was done, my middle nail was put on crooked etc. Completely rushed and for a french tip.. which should arguably be super basic for a pro, i could have don’t better with a $20 CVS acrylic set. They charged me $55 and of course i tipped 20%. We later called and they will not refund, they just tried to get me to “come back, so they can fix it”. Horrible place, don’t let the cute interior fool you.

This salon specialty is pedicures and manicures. Not gel X... I was happy that they accepted a walk-in. The salon itself has a cottage feel but within brick walls. Theres 3 pedicure chairs and 3 manicure tables. Its very small not recommmed for anyone who likes open space. I walked in and got asked if I wanted a pedicure twice, I said no thank you. I was recommend Gel-X as a remedy to the acrylic brutality on the nails. I had a photo as reference (ill share it), at first everything seemed right. I told her I wanted a rose color for the base instead of the one in the picture and she said she didn't have it. (Sure) She applied one layer of the base and she was going to move on to the tip. But almost every nail tech always does 2 layers of base. You can see the glue through the 1st layer so the 2nd layer was needed. I asked her, "You're doing a 2nd layer right? There was a moment of back n forth, almost to reverse psych me into agreeing to keeping the 1 layer. But, it made me be a bit stern. Which makes me uncomfortable because I'm really bubbly. Suddenly, there was this immense rushed feeling from her. When she got to the tips, the way she handled my hand caused fingers that were recently brushed to touch my skin so she had to constantly re-apply the black color. I can feel tension, it was no longer fun anymore. Customers were arriving and I think that was distracting her from the customer who sat in front of her. When it came to adding the dot design, she initially was putting big dots and they were not centered. My nuerodivergent mind needs symmetry and it downright did not look like a design. So I told her if the dots could be smaller, and I also brought up the fact that there was a hair in the gel color, she made a scuff sound with her throat like the ones we all do when we're told to do something we dont want to do. I felt like I wanted to say sorry. She said she couldnt see the hair. She did 1 layer of black on the tips, and honestly I wanted to get out so bad, I didnt want to tell her to do the 2nd layer. The end result is like having sticker nails, but at least the sticker nails are down right what you see, you get.. but its similar because they dont always fit your fingertips perfectly. She didnt place it too close to my cuticle, left an air bubble, ignored whatever happened on the index finger and put a lot of glue on some of them. That concludes my experience on a Gel-X request that costs 7-O. I'm hoping it does last the month. Reminded me of doctors who stop seeing patients as people. Maybe she wanted to go home to her daughter Hailey. Update: The left index nail fell off 6 days later. Right in the middle of my conference. Then 2 nails fell off, a week after that.

The staff here is incredibly kind and professional! They do amazing work and have some of the best prices around. The atmosphere is always so positive and welcoming. I highly recommend Hailey Nails I’ve been to many salons, and this one is by far my favorite! ❤️👌🏼

I am so happy my girlfriend introduced me to this salon💕. I am very particular about my nails and I always request designs I find online. They did a fantastic job🤞.
