Wellness Nails Care

This is truly one of the best nail salons in the city — their attention to detail, level of care and hospitality are unmatched and their prices are unbeatable! I got a mani and pedi and the cuticle care, polish application and massage were all amazing. Everyone that works here is so so kind and take such good care of everyone, and to top it off they gave everyone holiday gifts to go! I’ll be coming back here and recommending it to everyone I know!

Tiffany, Hong, Carole and everyone at Wellness Nails Care do such a fantastic job. My nails always look good, and it is such a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend them to anyone!

Best shaping of nails I have had in San Francisco! What a surprise. I accidentally ran into this salon when my car was being serviced and had some time to kill. Richie was a master at his craft! My nails look fake but they are real lol. I might have to cheat on my regular nail salon and come to see Richie! Not the cheapest but I'm glad to pay!

I was looking for a new nail salon and came here due to the abundance of good reviews. After getting my nails done though, I believe that many of them have to be bots or were not left by actual customers. I will caveat this by saying that the staff were very kind and my nail’s themselves look relatively decent, which is why I am giving 2 stars as opposed to 1. I was charged $72 and I tipped $10 since I’m awkward and can’t not tip. All parts of the service were awful (see below details) except cuticle trim and polish application, so it was basically just a quick polish change that I maybe would have paid $40 for. First, the man doing my pedicure placed my feet in a bowl of water which I feel was unnecessary as they soaked less than one minute. Then he cut my cuticles and did an alright job doing so. He moved onto exfoliating my foot with a pumice stone or exfoliating sponge, but with absolutely no pressure so it was a moot point. Then the “massage” was literally him just using his thump (with a very long nail) to rub circles in the center of my foot. It would vary in pressure from incredibly light to very hard where his nail would painfully dig into the sole of my foot. This lasted for at least 5 minutes on each foot. Then he painted my toes as you normally would. For the manicure, another man placed a pillow and towel on my lap and cut my cuticles and filed my nails and applied the clear coat that I requested. Then came another very uncomfortable massage in which he just continued to squeeze up and down my arm from my shoulder to forearm, even doing this to the nape of my neck. This all lasted for an uncomfortable amount of time. The service ended with him grabbing a warm wet towel and using it to scrub/massage the nape of my neck again, I have no clue why.
