I am in shock at the customer service I just received. I used to love this salon. I called to get a gel mani and asked if Annie still worked there because she was great the last few times. I said is there anyone there comparable to her because my mani lasted 2 months and I’ve never had that happen. (Trying to reiterate how Annie was great). He said that all of their staff was also great so anyone would be fine. I said okay and I’d like to schedule with anyone for Wednesday. Then he goes ‘sorry we can’t take your appointment because we don’t want to guarantee that it will last for 2 months. I said ‘it’s no problem… even if it lasts for 3 weeks I’d be happy..” He said ‘sorry we can’t take your appointment’ and hung up on me! Never in my life have I experienced someone being that rude to me on the phone before.

Ask for Jennifer for your manicure ! She is so detail oriented and did an amazing job with my french tips. if you want any type of designs or have inspiration pics from Instagram, show them to her and she will do an amazing job!

Very nice and relaxing nail salon! I love the art design and the nail tech was very kind and professional. Amazing experience! I am so happy with my lizzy grant inspired nails.

**RESPONSE TO “OWNER”** - Lies, lies, lies and more lies again. The person on the phone stated he was the receptionist, not the owner. I specifically asked who I was speaking to. He said, “I am the receptionist.” He quoted me for a full set and manicure for “no more than $100.” I understood exactly what he said and am aware you need to protect your business. Let’s do it honestly though. Your establishment was extremely hot and the manual fans you had going, did not help. There was absolutely no airflow. Getting back to the nails… the receptionist, whom I later found out is the actual owner, performed a bait and switch and began using his calculator to conjure up some astronomical figure that was well above what he quoted on the phone. I don’t even use GelX nails, so again, that is a dishonest statement you claimed he quoted me for. “…And we rarely have guests call repeatedly to confirm pricing.” This statement is also false. I called for pricing and an appointment time in the morning. Based on the 1:30 PM time slot he gave me, I let him know I would call back to confirm if that worked with my schedule. Never did I call back repeatedly for pricing. What a joke! All in all, your receptionist (the owner) is a scam artist and this nail salon is a big sham. Customers should be aware, not only of your unprofessionalism, but your ability to continue being deceptive after my review. Your prices were not posted on your website prior to my review, so great job in doing that after the fact. At least now, customers know what they’re paying for. With that said, please trash the bottle. I will never step foot in nor around your business and cannot recommend this nail shop to anyone. I was rescued that day by Mimi’s Nails in Redondo Beach. She provided the services I needed for my nail photoshoot with a smile, and charged no more than the $100 I was promised at your nail salon. Funny how things worked out and she now has a customer for life. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Deceptive! False advertising! Scam artists! I called to make an appointment and was scheduled for 1:30. While on the phone I asked how much a full set and manicure would be. The gentleman (receptionist) stated, “ No more than $100.” I agreed. However, when I got there it was a 360 on services and I don’t like dealing with scam artists and liars. The price of my service jumped from $100 to $37 for manicure another $15 to push back cuticles, which by the way is what you do when you get a manicure. So, essentially the manicure is $52, which is outrageous and the full set is $95. They attempted to charge me $147. He acted confused although I was not confused. I understood exactly what he said on the phone, but he played bait and switch, like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. Not surprised as I can tell he looked desperate for customers. I’m a very intelligent person, not falling for the scam. I give zero stars for service, zero stars for the lies, zero stars for attempting to rip me off, zero stars for the bait and switch. Essentially, there are no prices listed and if you look like you have money, they will attempt to raise prices and rip you off. I do not recommend this business. Oh and it’s really hot. They can’t even afford air conditioning.

I just moved to the area and thought I would give this place a try. I’ve been getting dip manicures for years and I’ve never had one that turned out this bad. It’s only been 4 days since I got my manicure and almost every nail has chipped at least a little and 2 of them have broke. I would never expect this to happen with dip and paying $70 + tip for this service is completely unacceptable. And on another note, I heard them offer champagne and martinis to other customers yet I was only offered water and coffee/tea. I will definitely not be going back.
