West Hills Nail Spa

I visited this place for the first time yesterday with two friends. I actually recommended it because a colleague had given me good feedback about their service. The manicure itself was nice, and the lady who helped me did a good job. However, the tipping situation was very disappointing. I was charged a $15 tip automatically without anyone asking. One of my friends was charged $12 the same way, and the other wasn’t charged anything but still chose to leave $10. I don’t mind tipping — I usually tip around 18% — but adding such high amounts without any conversation or consent doesn’t feel fair. I dont want to mention her nae though. When I mentioned this to the colleague who recommended the place, she was surprised because she has never been charged such high tips there. A few of my other colleagues were also shocked after hearing how inconsistent the tipping pattern was. The service was good, but the lack of transparency in tipping made the experience uncomfortable. I hope the salon reviews their policy and keeps it consistent and clear for customers. Specially someone visiting first time.

I’ve been coming to West Hills Nail spa for over three years. I love the location because it’s close to my house but what I love is the service and the people. I feel so well taken care of each visit. I love having Hannah do my gel dip and Sara do my pedicure. Hannah always listens to all my design ideas and each time implements my idea with careful creation and dedication to a job well done! Sara is so careful when doing my toes which I love - it’s never rushed and always done expertly and looking fabulous ❤️. Also the shop is super clean and the equipment top notch. The front staff always is so welcoming especially Kelly and Jasmine who understand great customer service and always with a smile 😊

I love this place. It's easy to get an appointment even with little notice. Ken gives the BEST pedicure massages! Annie and Rose are great with the my hard gel manicures and also very sweet. This place is very child friendly. My 3 year old son often tags along and hangs out with me during my appointment and they're so kind to him.

I can’t recommend this salon enough, especially Jay! Every time he does my nails they come out absolutely perfect. He pays close attention to detail and always makes sure I leave loving my nails. I always get compliments on my nails. If you’re booking here, definitely ask for Jay!

I absolutely love this place! It is large, clean, I can always get an appointment last minute, and all of the technicians are amazing! Anytime a nail breaks (rare) or chips they will always fix it. The front desk staff is great also! I think Kelli has helped me many times and she’s sweet! I don’t have a favorite technician that I request because everyone is good! I also love how they have a vast array of specialty nail color, such as cat eye, chrome, fairy dust etc. I also love love love that they have a frequency stamp card and that their ATM machine only cost a dollar!
