This was my first and absolutely last visit to this salon. I arrived at 1:30 PM and didn’t leave until 4:45 PM, over three hours for a simple Gel X manicure and a standard pedicure. My nail tech was brand new and struggled for nearly two hours. She applied nails, removed them, and repeatedly pried at my natural nails. It was uncomfortable and felt careless. I asked multiple times for a more experienced tech to step in and help, but the other nail techs ignored me or acted like they didn’t understand. When they did come over, they offered minimal support and then walked away, leaving her to continue struggling. What made this even more frustrating is that I told the front desk early on that I could not be there for three hours because I had another appointment. I was assured I would be done by 3:00 PM. That did not happen, and once it became clear I wouldn’t be leaving on time, the salon made no effort to adjust, bring in help, or speed things up. I had no choice but to cancel my other appointment. Meanwhile, I watched several clients arrive after me and leave before me, including people getting more complex services like gel French manicures. After all of that, I was handed a full $200 bill at checkout with no discount, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no apology (other than from the tech herself) for placing me with someone who clearly was not ready to perform a $120 Gel X service. I would not recommend this salon based on the time, lack of support, and complete disregard for customer experience.

The worst nail salon ever. The gel manicure I got cracked after 4days. First, I ignored that, than one more… I ended up going there to get them fixed. I was told there was no guarantee and maybe they would’ve done it if it had happened after 2 days maybe I had weak nails!?- never had this problem before. So, instead of fixing that and accept the terrible gel manicure, they blamed my nails. They don’t even care about their customers. Never going back!

I have known this salon since it first opened and have been a customer over the years, though not on a weekly basis. Initially, I enjoyed the experience and loved the quality, but over time I feel the quality has gradually declined and the pricing no longer feels justified, even considering its prime location and upscale positioning in Westwood. Unfortunately, my most recent visits reinforced this impression. One of my gel toenail polish came off after just a day. My nail technician was very friendly; however, the receptionist appeared disengaged. I wasn’t even verbally greeted back when I checked in for my appointment. She gave the experience an l uncomfortable and unnecessary awkward vibe, something that was only eased by the technician’s friendliness. Overall, the pedicure did not meet the standard I had come to expect, nor the level of quality & service I’ve experienced at other salons. I don’t feel inclined to return for now. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but based on my experience, reading other feedback, and observing how some concerns appear to be addressed publicly by TK Nails, customers may wish to consider alternative manicure or Russian manicure salons in the area, or revisit this one at a later time once improvements have been made & consistency is guaranteed.

The ugliest gel manicure I’ve ever had. Even the gel polish I’ve had on my toes has never looked this bad. All I asked for was a smooth and even single-color manicure, but somehow even that couldn’t be done — and it cost $75 before tax and tip. The surface of this manicure is so uneven, it honestly looks like a construction zone — with added speed bumps.

I’m gonna be honest I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt cause I don’t do nails professionally but these were awful. I try to never leave bad reviews on businesses but this could have so easily been avoided. I had acrylic prior to these and asked for removal, they only filed of a little of the acrylic and put gel on top basically without shaping them. On top of all of this an “simple” gel manicure costed 80 dollars without tip. Unfortunately this was money wasted.
