Ly Nails & Spa

I used to like this shop very much because I know the owner is passionate about his business. But now its like he works with amateurs. The Previous time, I came in I explained that I like his work not so much his employees (their work doesnt last as long). Two days ago.. i went in to have my toes done for my moms funeral, and I left completely dissatisfied. During my pedicure the woman cut my toes down so low you can see the skin underneath.. and I had to repeatedly tell her to be careful or wed stop. She moved so slow it took her and hour just on my pedicure, she overdrilled my toes causing a burning sensation and I had to snatch my foot back from her. I left with all my toes hurting, cant even touch the nail and they feel super raw. Farewell, to me and my business.

This is so sigma; Ivy has very good patience even though it took 2 hours. Make sure to ask who has more experience if you want your nails done well. If the design looks awful always ask for changes in the design; like how I did for the heart on my nail.

Absolutely impressed! I am 39 grew up around here, had nails done for decades! She did an all out manicure for acrylic nails! I needed some me time and that was above and beyond. Same prices as most places too! Ruby was more of a perfectionist about my nails than myself. Will most certainly go back!

I wish I would have looked at the reviews before coming, or walked out when I walked in and saw it was completely different. This spot used to be so consistent and up on trends. I asked for tigers eye in the shape of a point at the top and I did not receive that at all. Just the regular pattern. I had the guy redo two of my tips before the acrylic went on because they were crooked. He redid them after I insisted. They were put on perfectly straight but then he shaped the middle finger crooked. I just accepted this since I was already almost an hour into my appointment. Usually after buffering the acrylic nail the nail techs will tell you to go rinse your hands, but they did not do this. They just continued working on my hands with dust all over them. Which as you can imagine my nail polish was bumpy because of all of the debris from the acrylic. Both of my thumbnails and my pointer fingers are bumpy from the acrylic itself because it wasn't laid on flat. There's no care for the cuticle they didn't even push them back. I am highly disappointed that they changed ownership especially for a salon that has so many customers. Everyone knows that this is the spot to get high quality nails. Everyone is willing to pay that price of $75 for a full set of acrylic, as long as it's executed extremely well. They should lower the prices to fit the quality of the work that they're giving. They have kept these high prices because Ly Nails previous owners were able to charge them. Now they have all of their old clientele who are unknowingly going to this place thinking that they're going to get high quality service and product that they always received. Which they are not.

Sam again has outdone himself! The patience and meticulous art designs that he provides at my request without complaining is valuable. I recommend him to anyone and will definitely be a continuous customer! Ly Nails Spa provides outstanding customer service!
