First Nails

EDIT: I left this initial review over a year ago but I just had to add to it today! LATEST REVIEW: So! They are closed on Mondays but I tend to call on Monday evenings to ask for an appointment for the next day and they always call me back on Monday and schedule me for the next day even though they are closed on Mondays! I think that is so sweet! More importantly I went in and got my nails done yesterday for a job interview today and then broke my thumbnail right before the interview! I rushed over to the nail shop and explained what happened and she took me right away and had me in and out of there so fast! You can't even tell that it was not part of the original set! There was another customer in there who I think was speaking to them too rudely. They never matched her energy. They stayed professional calm and friendly towards her. That would have been hard for me to do. At one point I wanted to say something to the lady but I didn't. I really love their professionalism and how well they look after their customers. People should definitely give the shop a try! I am a forever client! OLD REVIEW: I looked them up on google they had the best reviews so I made an appointment yesterday evening. I called to say I'd be 15 late to my appointment today and they still took me. That's rare! They were very polite and their work was great and clean. I love their design options and the place was clean and quiet. I plan on going back again. I got a manicure and pedicure with gel and designs on both my feet and hands. I paid 60 for the manicure and pedicure and an extra $15 for the gel and designs so a total of $75. I think the price was fine. Im happy with my nails.

Helen and her husband are so sweet and humble. They took me in at last minute and the quality of their work was exceptional. It's so hard to find a friendly nail tech in Apple Valley, so I'm happy I found First Nails.

Although Helen is very nice and I like the fact that she makes you take your nail files home and tells you to bring them back the next time you come is a awesome idea to protect you from Covid, but when I asked to do a purple ombre nail she didn't succeed the expectation of what I wanted. My nails don't look awful but the ombre part is messy and incorrect.

He wouldn't look at the nails I wanted, he only knew the color and shape. Even though I had to coeecor him a few times because it didn't look like the shape of the picture. Once we left I realized that the underside of my nails had lot of excess of the filed off nails. But aside from that I'm happy with my nails.
