Edit: New review update. After leaving my last one star review, I didn’t come back to this place for over 4 years. But today I was in a jam and thought, how bad can it be if they are still there. I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO REWIND TIME AND NOT COME BACK HERE. Wow. This place is disgusting. The filthiest salon in my area. Every chair is covered in nail dust and dirt to the point of being reluctant to sit. I was cringing when she wanted to use their tools on my feet. I take responsibility for not getting up and leaving but I just don’t have the heart to do it, I always want to give the benefit of the doubt. Again, 4 years later, I got a woman who cannot do nails. She relied heavily on a little brush to fix mistakes on every single nail, and there were many. There were kids running and screaming my entire appointment. My nail tech could see the frustration on my face an apologized again and again through out the appointment. Nothing about sitting here was relaxing. Honestly the audacity of this place. I’m shocked by the reviews saying this place is good because I cannot understand how. Never again. Old review: Wow. Shocked by how terrible this place is. Over priced and the worst service/performance ever. I wish I could upload a picture of my "pedicure".. looks like it was done by a young child who couldn't stay in the lines. Awful. Just awful.

It's okay. Staff is friendly. This is my go to if I can't get an appointment at my usual spot. Bio gel is great but pricey $65 for not including a manicure.. cuticles etc. If you get regular polish or regular gel, your nails are going to chip in a matter of days. I suspect their Gel polish is old which is why it doesn't last.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Husband gave me a gift certificate here for my first pedicure since baby was born (4 months). Nail tech did minimum, barely massaged feet (I had added on 10 min foot massage for extra charge) and left my heels MUCH rougher than before she exfoliated. Then claimed my gift certificate didn't cover the price, when I knew how much was on there. Was able to straighten it out with the cashier, but didn't feel right to tip after she (they?) tried to rip me off. They also upcharged the customer next to me for a "deluxe" service when I overheard her repeatedly ask for the basic/standard gel manicure. To top it off, my toenail polish chipped within 24 hours. Too bad, as the big salon looks lovely and is quiet. I was hoping this could be my new nail shop, but they were dishonest and gave poor service. I will not be back.

Although BCBC is a nice nail salon, it is mediocre service. Anytime I made an appointment, I waited up to 20 minutes. Not only was there a wait, but I have been in the salon for up to three hours to have a basic acrylic set done. I have also had regular, gel, and dip manicures. Nearly every gel manicure I received came off within a few days due to bubbling and the products not being cured and dried all the way through. Similar experience with the dip manicure, except it was not opaque all the way through and only lasted about a week. My other complaint with BCBC is the pricing. Fir the same service, typically with the same manicurist, the price differed almost every visit I had at the salon. Overall, please do not waste your money and time here. There are many other wonderful options in the Calabasas area which will meet your expectations.

For the most part it's a great place. They have alot of techs and can usually take you in every time you walk in. They usually all are good. The reason I reviewed it a 4 and not 5 is because they talk in their language way too much and sometimes a nail techs job isn't that great and can cut your skin a little bit. They need to get hip to the new nail tools out there that are safer. I have noticed some of their techs have those tools though. Nice roomy nail salon so it's a pretty comfy shop...its also in a nice and pretty classy shopping center. 😊
