Luminous Nails Spa

Absolutely LOVED my experience today. I went in for my regular French acrylic and was 100% satisfied. The environment was cozy and my nail tech was the best by far. I drove in from Little Rock today for work and needed them done and the reviews brought me here. So glad those I chose them and will definitely come back when I'm in town again.

I typically would not leave a negative review, but I feel like I may have to share my experience as a precaution for others. Before I continue, I want to say the service was good, people were friendly, and the wait was pretty standard. I came in with healthy thick nails that i would have to be clipped once a week. First time was okay, but I came in just for basic red nails. I came in to get gels twice, each time, my nails were filed down paper thin as if I were getting acrylics. Not only was my french tip not completely finished, but my nails were uneven and there was a clear difference in thickness on my nails before and after the french tip. Left with a few nicks, and didn't think too much of it. Two months later my nails are so fragile that one has been ripped almost clean off, and half are split down to the cuticle, ripped or just completely damaged. I hadn't gotten my nails done at a salon for years, this definitely reiterated why I do my gels at home. Ladies, save yourself the money, health/functionality issues, and heartbreak; buy yourself a kit and be high maintenance at home.

If you’re looking for your new nail shop, you found it!! I HIGHLY recommend the team at Luminous Nails. The environment is always positive; walk-ins are greeted and regular customers by their name. I have had my nails done by 4 different nail technicians (the owner-a very kind and gracious host , Diana, Tony B, and Ken) and each one of them is talented. I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails.

I’m so disappointed with the service I received today. I got an acrylic full set, and I honestly could have done better. My nails are coming out at a 45 degree angle, all different shapes, and there’s acrylic and gel all over my nail beds. I would ask them to redo it but I honestly don’t want them near my nails again. I am currently soaking off this basic set that cost me $57. I want a refund because this is insane 😂
