Busch Nails and Lashes

Richard is definitely one of the best nail techs in Tampa!! I've been getting my nails done for the past few months and absolutely love them everytime. He's done both dip powder and acrylic. They hold up really well and have never had any chips or breaks. He's an expert in nail art and fine details and always goes above my expectations. He is able to perfectly repliate any design I ask for! I will definitely continue coming here to get my nails done by Richard for many sets to come! I was really excited to try Busch naps because the reviews are great and the photos look amazing. I made a same day appointment and my nail techs name was Mariel but unfortunately I left unsatisfied. Disclaimer: I have spoken to a gentleman at the desk there since this appointment and explained why I wasn’t happy with my nails. They offered for me to come in and have them redone asap but I don’t have the time and they also offered a discount for my next set. They took my feedback very seriously and said they would talk to the nail tech so I do appreciate that. I showed my nail tech, Mariel, my reference photo which was black French tips with an almost clear base and asked for a spider web on one nail which I also showed her a picture of. At first, I was impressed by her service because she removed my old nail polish so carefully and gently. I told her how happy I was that she was making sure to preserve my natural nail while removing the polish. The issues arose when she picked a pink bass color for the French tips and asked what I thought so I was honest and told her I was looking for something lighter like the reference photo. She gave me two more options and I was happy with one of them, but after that, she seamed to have an attitude. This made me hesitant to ask for other things about my nails to be fixed because she seemed already upset with me. I did try to ask her to fix minor imperfections about the French tips before curing them because they were a little messy on the edges. But again, she seemed a little frustrated with me so I didn’t want to keep asking her to fix them. When it came to the spiderweb design, she was struggling to do the design and asked another coworker to come try. I think it’s perfectly fine to ask for help when needed, but both techs were struggling to do the design and said my nails were small. In my opinion if you’re a professional nail tech, you should be able to do design designs on any size nails, and mine are not THAT small. The biggest problem for me was that Mariel flooded my cuticles on a few nails. Second, she left gel polish on my skin and cured it in the lamp which can cause contact dermatitis. And last my nails were filed very rough on the edges and she kept curing polish on the nails and didn’t refine the edges until after the top coat. If you file nails after the top coat you are ruining the protective seal of the free edge and that causes the polish to peel faster. Another issue I had was that the desk I was seated at had not been wiped clean after the last client and there was still nail dust all over when they started my nails. After finishing my set my hands still had dust on them and Mariel just put cuticle oil on and rubbed the dust in with it all over my nails and hands. Overall, I appreciate the response to my feedback when I called and I would be willing to give the shop another chance with a different nail tech.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Experience at Bushnell and Lashes! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and offered drinks and snacks, such a thoughtful touch! The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I showed Richard a picture of the nails I wanted, and he delivered exactly what I asked for.. precise, flawless, and beautifully done. Velma took care of my pedicure, and she was just as amazing! She paid close attention to every detail and made sure my feet looked and felt incredible. To top it all off, when I checked out, I was given candy to go and a complimentary glass of wine — the perfect way to end such a pampering experience. If you’re in Tampa and looking for top-tier service, skilled technicians, and a relaxing, welcoming environment, I highly recommend Bushnell and Lashes on E. Busch Boulevard. I’ll definitely be back! 💅🍷✨

This place is fantastic!! Just upon arriving I felt like I was being taken care off. This was my first time and will be my go to spot from now on. I got a pedicure with French tip gel done by Red who did such a fantastic job with my toes! I was even offered to get both my feet and nails done at the same time which honestly saved me so much time because I was sneaking this in during my son’s nap. Hanna did an absolutely incredible job on my nails!! I am in awe of her work! I came in with an idea for the holidays (my family and I are doing Christmas picture soon so I wanted something on theme of that) and she nailed it!! I left feeling like a baddie which is so special to me as being a mom of two! If I could give them 10 stars I would! They made my day!! I highly suggest them to anyone in the Tampa area looking to get pampered!

1st let me start by saying my nail tech Ebony is the best. She is amazing when it comes to nails. The set She did is by far 1 of the best I ever had. If your ever in the area you gotta get them done by her. She is very pleasant and super nice and easy to get along with. My Birthday nails are out of this world. Would definitely have her do my nails every time I want them done. Top Notch...
